Dave McMullenI relocated to San Pedro from West Hartford, CT, in 2003, and develop innovative uses of information technology, database-driven Windows and web applications, hence DotNetNuke. My Ph.D. from Stanford focused on computer-based learning, followed by ten years of research at SUNY, Stony Brook, where I taught educational psychology using IBM multimedia computers, created a campus-wide test-scoring service. In industry I was manager of information technology training at Savin and Travelers, then started my own consulting business to develop executive IT training. teach writing and create Windows database applications. I started with DNN in late 2003 as part of a volunteer task force to create a website for Take A Swing at Cancer, a fund-raiser via golf and softball tournaments. I've introduced DNN to many organizations, including the SQL Server Professionals Group (sql.la) and stpeterspres.org. Taking part in our DNN User Group helps make my love-hate relationship with DNN mostly love as I get (and give) help over the rough spots in this evolving phenomenon. dma@dmcma.com
