July 9, 2008 Meeting Notes by Paul Chu

Summary

1. RoundTable Discussion

2. Live Content API demo by Mandeep Singh

Demo how to create a module with hyperlink that will open in a "psuedo popup" div tag instead of standard Popup. Mouseover event will also trigger the "Web 2.0 virtual popup effect". Developers must own the Live Content Module on their website.  Devs learn that they can program their custom modules to support Live Content via a module Settings and testing for LiveContent install at runtime.

Bonus Trick of the Day: Learn how Mandeep shows a Virtual Popup of the socaldug.org RSVP module on his own laptop webserver.

3. May have to change our venue to Irvine RHT next month.
